The intake consultation is free. A digital scan (€100) is required to create your 3D treatment plan. This fee will be deducted from the treatment price if you decide to proceed with treatment.
Payment in installments is available via SprayPay at 14% interest, depending on the selected term and subject to approval. Interest-free payment in 2–4 installments is available via Alma, In3 or Klarna.
Prices apply to treatment of both upper and lower teeth, except for the Go plan. During treatment, you will usually visit the treating dentist every few months for a check-up. Appointments may take place in Amstelveen, Amersfoort, Rotterdam or Wijchen (limited availability).
Orthoclear is a platform for digital aligner planning and aligner production. The clinical assessment, start of treatment and all dental procedures are performed by the treating dentist. These services are invoiced directly by the dentist according to the applicable dental fees.
Orthoclear aligners are custom-made medical devices used for orthodontic treatment. Suitability, prescription and supervision of treatment are assessed by the treating dentist.

You should remove aligners when eating or drinking anything other than water to prevent damage and staining.
Aligners should be worn for 20–22 hours per day for optimal results.
Aligners may cause mild pressure when starting a new set. This is normal and usually fades within a few days.
Treatment length varies per person and plan, but most treatments take between 3 and 14 months, depending on complexity and compliance.
Aligners may be suitable for mild to moderate orthodontic issues, such as crooked teeth or gaps between teeth. During the intake consultation, we provide an initial assessment. The dentist makes the final evaluation during the clinical check before treatment begins.
There ain't no such thing as a free lunch. Sounds nice of course a free 3D scan. But it just means that the treatment price is much higher to compensate for these free scans. We at Orthoclear don't think that's a good or fair concept!
You can pay online via iDEAL or credit card, or choose to pay in instalments through In3 or SprayPay. Instalment options are subject to an online check and approval by the payment provider.
Reimbursement may be possible with the FLEX and PRO plans, as these include dental treatment costs. Whether reimbursement applies depends on the terms and coverage of your dental insurance policy.
Yes. If you proceed with treatment, the scan fee will be deducted from the total treatment price.
Aligners are produced in sets of 15. Clear aligners work best when they fit precisely around your teeth, and producing them in stages allows each set to match your progress accurately.
Yes. All costs are included in the package price, so there are no hidden fees or unexpected charges.
No. We work together with licensed dentists, and your check-up appointments take place at the dental office, just like with any other orthodontic treatment.
